Changes at "David Greenfield"

[Did not use photo of cat] first became involved with the local chapter of the Green Party for a few years in the 1980s. Then in 1998-99 I helped found our provincial Green Party, served as Vice President of the Provincial Party for 3 years and ran several times as a candidate both provincially and federally between 1999 and 2004. I also represented Saskatchewan on the GPC Federal Council between 2002 and 2005. I have always been motivated by 3 interwoven values of peace, social justice and ecological wellbeing, and I am committed to working for all 6 of the values in the global green charter. Over the past 35 years or so, in addition to my involvement with the greens I have also been involved with a variety of grassroots activist organization including Saskatchewan Eco Network, the Inter-church Uranium Committee, the Council of Canadians, the Sierra Club and Climate Justice Saskatoon.

In early 2020, when I learned that my long-time Naomi Hunter was running to become leader of the Saskatchewan Green Party, I rejoined the party both federally and provincially and have since run twice as candidate, once federally and once provincially.

[AT}J'ai commencé à m'impliquer dans la section locale du parti vert pendant quelques années dans les années 1980. Puis, en 1998-1999, j'ai participé à la fondation de notre parti vert provincial, j'ai été vice-président du parti provincial pendant trois ans et je me suis présenté plusieurs fois comme candidat aux élections provinciales et fédérales entre 1999 et 2004. J'ai également représenté la Saskatchewan au Conseil fédéral du GPC entre 2002 et 2005. J'ai toujours été motivé par les trois valeurs interdépendantes que sont la paix, la justice sociale et le bien-être écologique, et je me suis engagé à œuvrer en faveur des six valeurs de la charte verte mondiale. Au cours des 35 dernières années, outre mon engagement auprès des Verts, j'ai également participé à diverses organisations militantes locales, notamment le Saskatchewan Eco Network, l'Inter-church Uranium Committee, le Conseil des Canadiens, le Sierra Club et Climate Justice Saskatoon.
