Changes at "Fairness in political donations. A funding model better than the per vote subsidy."

Proposal text

Whereas​​ many​​ citizens​​ do not have disposable income​​ to influence politics with a donation​​,​​ and whereas​​ the Green party of Canada​​ believes each ​​citizen​​ should have equal financial​​ influence​​ over the Canadian political system​​: and whereas offering voters the option to seperate their vote from their donations is fairer than the per vote funding model, by not forcing strategic voters to fund a party they feel forced to vote for.:​

​Be it resolved that​​ the Green party of Canada​​​ favours a political donation​​ system​ ​​​that allows​​ each citizen​ exclusively an annual​​ fixed ​​government funded donation to their party or electoral district association ​​of choice​​.​​​ An additional​​ donation​​ to an electoral candidate​​ of choice​​ will be an option for each citizen​​.​ The assignment of funds process​​ must be secure and transparent​​.​

​This motion recognizes​​ that the link between​​ an individual's ​​political influence ​​and monetary status​ ​​​must be diminished​​ for the good​​ of the democratic process​​.​​

How this proposed funding model is better that the per vote subsidy:

Strategic voting is a reality in Canada under FPTP. Example: wherever voters would prefer to vote green but greens are running at 2 or 3 percent and the liberals and conservatives are tied, voters vote red in order to defeat the conservative in the riding. But under the current policy of the per vote subsidy, that voter would *also* be forced to subsidize the liberal party. With this policy proposal in place teh will of the voter is better expressed.

Equality and Inclusivity: The current political donation system primarily benefits individuals or groups with disposable income, creating an unequal playing field. By providing an equal government-funded donation to every citizen, regardless of their financial status, the proposed system promotes equality and inclusivity in the political process.

Comme de nombreux citoyens n'ont pas le revenu disponible pour influencer la politique avec un don, et que le Parti vert du Canada croit que chaque citoyen devrait avoir une influence financière égale sur le système politique canadien:

Il est résolu que le Parti vert du Canada favorise un système de dons politiques qui permet à chaque citoyen de faire exclusivement un don annuel fixe financé par le gouvernement à son parti ou à l'association de circonscription électorale de son choix. Un don supplémentaire à un candidat électoral de son choix sera une option pour chaque citoyen.Cette motion reconnaît que le lien entre l'influence politique d'un individu et son statut monétaire doit être réduit pour le bien du processus démocratique.

Égalité et inclusivité : Le système actuel de dons politiques profite principalement aux individus ou aux groupes disposant d'un revenu disponible, ce qui crée une inégalité de traitement. En offrant un don égal financé par le gouvernement à chaque citoyen, quelle que soit sa situation financière, le système proposé promeut l'égalité et l'inclusion dans le processus politique.

Amplifier les voix diverses : Les contraintes financières empêchent souvent les groupes marginalisés et les personnes à faible revenu de participer - voir ci-joint

Cette proposition affecte-t-elle un groupe particulier et quels efforts ont été déployés pour consulter le ou les groupes ?

Il n'y a pas assez d'espace dans le champ *évidence*. Que faire ? De plus, la limite de 50 mots viole les règlements et entrave ma motion.
