Changes at "G23-P023 Agricultural Water Security Act"

Proposal text

Funding will be made available by the Federal government to upgrade the efficiency of the existing water and irrigation systems of Canada’s farmers.

It will also help them purchase drought-resistant seeds.

It will invest in vertical farming initiatives and AI-assisted irrigation techniques on a provisional case-by-case basis.

Le gouvernement fédéral mettra à disposition des fonds pour améliorer l'efficacité des systèmes d'eau et d'irrigation existants des agriculteurs canadiens.

Il les aidera également à acheter des semences résistantes à la sécheresse.

Il investira dans des initiatives d'agriculture verticale et des techniques d'irrigation assistées par l'IA sur une base provisoire au cas par cas.
