Changes at "G23-P012 Fairness in political donations"

Whereas​​ many​​ citizens​​ do not have disposable income​​ to influence politics with a donation​​,​​ and whereas​​ the Green party of Canada​​ believes each ​​citizen​​ should have equal financial​​ influence​​ over the Canadian political system​​:​

Be it resolved that​​ the Green party of Canada​​​ favours a political donation​​ system​ ​​​that allows​​ each citizen ​ exclusively an annual​​ fixed​​government funded donation to their party or electoral district Association ​​of choice​​.​ ​​​ An additional​​ donation​​ to an electoral candidate​​ of choice​​ will be an option for each citizen​​.​ ​ The assignment of funds process​​ must be secure and transparent​​

​This motion recognizes​​ that the link between​​ an individual's ​​political influence ​​and monetary status​ ​​​must be diminished​​ for the good​​ of the democratic process​​.​​

Il est résolu que le Parti vert du Canada favorise un système de dons politiques qui permet à chaque citoyen de faire exclusivement un don annuel fixe, financé par le gouvernement, au parti ou à l'association de circonscription de son choix.Le processus d'attribution des fonds doit être sûr et transparent

Cette motion reconnaît que le lien entre l'influence politique d'un individu et son statut monétaire doit être diminué pour le bien du processus démocratique.
