Jan Norris

long-term environmentalist, I served on the board of the SierraClub of Canada and the Saskatchewan Environmental Society almost two decades ago. Since then I have continued to volunteer with SES occasionally, and as well have become active with Climate Justice Saskatoon. I ran as a Green candidate once federally and three times provincially. I’ve always believed in the Greens principles and I’m curious to learn how the party operates and to see if serving on the federal council is a useful way for me to contribute.

Experience and Skills

I've served on a number of boards and been active with nonprofit organizations such as the Saskatoon Peace Coalition, Saskatoon Native Circle Ministry, and the Unitarian Congregation of Saskatoon. For 16 years my partner and I have hosted a meditation group that meets every Saturday morning.
