Ava Grace King

I was born and raised in PEI, named Epekwitk by the Mi'kmaq, and am currently in senior high school in Charlottetown. I am an avid reader, and love learning about history and other cultures. I'm worried about the future facing young people like me, with the impact of climate change happening now and only getting worse. I also worry about the day to day challenges like the cost of living, housing, and work opportunities. The world is changing really fast and it's the youth who should be given a voice in the decisions and actions that we are going to have to live with when we grow up. I am not afraid to stand up and speak truth to power and I look forward to doing that as the PEI representative if I am elected.
